Beer/Cider Photo of the Week: Brasserie Fantome’s Sign

Posted on Posted in Beer and Cider Photography, Beer History, Beer News, Belgium, Saison/Farmhouse

A white sign against a cloudy sky. Fortunately the black outlines of the ghost help to highlight set the image apart. The grey bricks and dark eaves at good contrast points.

This is the famous Brasserie Fantome ghost. I visited the tiny Walloon brewery in the fall. Belgium, a country that lies on the North Sea, can often be quite cloudy. This sign overlooks the small country lane that is the road through Soy, the home of Brasserie Fantome.
