I was recently approached by Sofie Couwenbergh of the Wonderful Wanderings travel blog to create some posts about Belgian beer.  Sofie is a Belgian writing about her travel adventures, but as she admits, she’s not a beer drinker.  While I’m not a Belgian, I do have an intense passion for Belgium and the beers produced by its varied brewing community.  As I continue to focus more on Belgium, its beers, and beer tourism, I thought this would be a fantastic collaboration and a chance to put all 3 focuses into action all at once!

Join me in this new venture as I explore Belgium one beer at a time!  Today’s adventure starts with the beer: De Koninck and its home city of Antwerp, which I used as my base of operations for two weeks the last time I was in Belgium.

Please visit my new friend Sofie at Wonderful Wanderings and read my post about De Koninck by clicking on this sentence!

Also, please check back in for further installments in this series.
